Our Fairfax location features a state-of-the-art showroom, design studio, and a warehouse and distribution center serving customers across the East Coast.
We are looking for a proactive and personable Showroom Assistant to support our Fairfax team in Fairfax, VA.
Position Summary
The Showroom Assistant will assist with daily operations, customer service, showroom organization, and light administrative work in a professional environment.
This is a great opportunity for someone with an interest in the design or interiors industry who is looking to gain experience and grow into a sales role.
Responsibilities:
- Answering and directing phone calls
- Greeting and assisting showroom visitors
- Supporting sales staff with daily tasks and customer service
- Filing, document organization, and administrative support
- Assisting with merchandising and showroom display updates
- Participating in marketing projects and outreach
- Building a client list and conducting cold calls as needed
- Completing showroom projects as assigned
- Lifting and moving materials (up to 40 lbs.)
Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent phone etiquette and professionalism
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask
- Interest in the design or interiors industry preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Comfortable lifting up to 40 lbs. when necessary
