Do I need to schedule an appointment when visiting your showroom?
During our showroom hours, walk-in customers are always welcome to come and browse our wide selection of stock and special order products, as well as our many displays. However, most of our clients find it helpful to schedule a design appointment with one of our Design Consultants so we know when to expect you and are prepared with uninterrupted time set aside for you to assist in making your tile selections and to fill out the necessary paperwork for you.

What can I expect from a B&F Ceramics Design Showroom Design Consultant during my scheduled appointment?
Our Design Consultants will guide you through the selection process and make suggestions on designs, materials, patterns, grout colors, accents and all the details pertaining to your project. We can explain the advantages of using different materials in various applications along with maintenance and upkeep issues involved with products. We also take care of the necessary paperwork involved in the selection process including detailed selection forms, pattern specifications, and more.
What should I bring to my scheduled appointment?
If there is new construction involved, it is helpful to bring your house floor plan, cabinetry samples, countertop samples, paint color ideas, tile budget or price allowances the builder has given you and anything else that may influence your tile selections. If remodeling it is also helpful to bring pictures of your space, samples of any existing tile if you are coordinating with older tiles, along with existing paint colors or wallpaper.

How long does a typical appointment take?
We like to set aside at least an hour for your appointment depending on the type of project you are working on. However, a full house selection may take up to a few hours. We never want to have you feel rushed through the process. There are a lot of products to look at and details to discuss so it is important to take the necessary time.

What if I don’t know what I’m looking for?
It’s helpful for our Design Consultants if you come in with a few ideas of things you’ve seen and liked so we know how to better direct the appointment. A few great places to look online for inspiration are Houzz and Pinterest. We will do our best to match our products to your interests.

What if I have a strict budget for my project?
At B&F Ceramics Design Showroom, we have an array of budget friendly products and work hard to stay within your budget. When you come to your appointment, please be ready with a tile budget or price allowance if you are working with a builder or contractor. Your builder, contractor or installer will be able to provide you with the exact quantities needed for your project. We will quote the materials needed for your project based on these quantities.
Can I check out or purchase samples?
We encourage all of our clients to take home samples in order for you to see them in your lighting and in the setting of your home or space. We offer a 3 week sample purchase policy on all of our stock items to allow you to take your time making decisions. Customers will receive a full refund on the return of samples within those 3 weeks.

Can your Design Consultants help me pick out cabinets, countertops, or other interior design items?
Although we do not sell or fabricate cabinets, vanities, or countertops, both of our showroom locations have an array of product samples and can offer recommendations to coordinate with your tile selections. We have various cabinet, granite, quartz and marble samples to work with for side by side comparison with our tile products. We also have extensive lists of local interior design professionals with wonderful reputations for you to contact with any additional design needs.
